Ron Sconyers has been a member of the MetroPath team since February 2009.
Mr. Sconyers is a healthcare management professional who has extensive senior management experience and success in a wide variety of healthcare industry responsibilities. He has broad-based operations experience encompassing all aspects of strategic planning, budget administration, information systems, revenue cycle management, financial/cash management functions, contracting, and compliance. His background includes serving as a hospital administrator, a medical practice COO, a clinical laboratory operations manager, and a former Director of Business Systems for a large national independent lab located in Boston, MA. He also served as the CIO for Clinical Labs of Colorado in a joint venture between Centura Healthcare Systems and Clinical Labs of Hawaii.
Mr. Sconyers formed Rural Healthcare Solutions in Louisiana to assist in the strategic planning and deployment of technology for the community hospital setting. He has also assisted in the development and subsequent awarding of several grants that funded technology projects. One example is a grant that he wrote for the State of Louisiana in which the FCC awarded 15.7 million dollars to develop a dedicated network for health care providers. He also assisted in the development of a grant that funded the implementation of an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system for a home health agency and a federally qualified health center in the State of Louisiana. He was then asked to manage the project, which included a portal that shared the patient information among health care providers.
Mr. Sconyers is a member of the MGMA, HIMSS, National Rural Healthcare Association, American Telemedicine Association, and Colorado Healthcare Strategy and Management group.
David Branstrom has been a member of the MetroPath team since August of 2010. As the CFO, David brings extensive and diversified financial management experience and expertise to the organization. In his role, David directs and oversees all financial aspects of the business including accounting practices, budgeting and forecasting, financial planning and analysis, as well as treasury management.
